General Service Provider Disruption: Delays in Order Firing, Webhook Delivery, and Olo Account Authentication

Early this morning (10/20) there was a major outage with one of our service providers (AWS) that led to a disruption in a handful of our core systems. During this period of time, while we were able to adequately and quickly capture orders, several downstream systems were severely impacted and experienced major delays in processing.

From approximately 3:26 AM ET - 4:32 AM ET and 4:44 AM ET - 4:50 AM ET, customers could expect to see delays in receiving Order Closed events emitted from our Webhooks, general Webhook delays, inability to schedule future orders, inability to log into an Olo Account, and a delay in scheduled orders being fired down to the point of sale.

As of 4:50 AM ET our systems are fully caught up and are expected to be in fully working order.
